Why havn't I seen this site before? I came across the Uncyclopedia a couple of days back while browsing. I was quite impressed with the articles on it. Some of them are so hilarious.

It is basically an imitation of Wikipedia with a twist. All the articles have humor as the main theme. The interface is almost like Wikipedia's and even the logo is almost the same. Instead of the hollowed globe their logo is a hollowed potato.

Here are some of the entries from the Uncyclopedia.

Maldives - The Maldives is an island nation consisting of about 30 islands located somewhere in the Indian Ocean. Filled with a few palm trees, an airport, a few shacks and the Maldives Hilton Resort. The country is suffering from lack of space and is also sinking due to the weight of the Maldives Hilton and fat American tourists.

Sir Alex Ferguson - Sir Awex squeaky-bum time Ferguson CBE, PhD, HND, BSc, MA, BEng, MD, MP3, GCSE, AVCE, Avi, DivX, Mpg, CD, VCD, LCD, DVD, ABS, SOS, ASBO & XXX (born 31 December 1341 in Parkhead, Glasgow) is a Scottish football twat manager who spend most of his time with Manchester United McCook Isle Athletic and Aberdeen FC although only became a household name when he wed Falkirk based East Stirwingshire FC to their first ever domestic league victory in 1974. In his spare time, Fergie dresses up in a skirt and sings for the The Proclaimers.

Dell - Dell is a company founded in 1884 after some bored farmer created a machine to help The Farmer in the Dell. They currently make personal computers that explode randomly, making it a terrorist's choice of bomb.

French - French is a throat disease of moderate severity. Symptoms include incomprehensible spoken language with excessive softness and a total lack of emphasis on the hard vowels. A constant gargling when pronouncing the letter 'r' is an unpleasant side effect of the disease. The pest originated in France but rapidly spread to Canada and some parts of Africa. To limit the spread of the disease there is now an international effort known as the English language. This has all but wiped out the disease except from the areas of extreme prevalence.

Wikipedia (Pronounced: Weak-gay-peed-ya) is a satirical parody of Uncyclopedia. Some say that it is actually a database of useless trivia, including such things as: lists of trains, Pokémon, lists of Mortal Kombat that don't exist, hyperactive alter egos of fictional characters,one-time villains from Mario games, road intersections, boring suburban schools, garage bands, cats`, webcomics, Bionicle characters, characters from English soap operas, God, Satan, life, the universe and Everything, as well as a thing they call articles. Most students use Wikipedia as their only source for coursework and essays. So far none of the examiners have noticed the randomly underlined words and hyperlinks, so don't you go and give it away now!
