Is this coincidence?

Robert Todd Lincoln, the son of Abrahan Lincoln, was present at Ford's Theater in Washington D.C., on April 14, 1865, when his father was assassinated. He was also nearby on July 2, 1881, when President James Garfield was shot at the Baltimore and Potomac railroad station in Washington. And on September 6, 1901, he just happened to be a few feet away when President William McKinley was shot at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York.
